US index futures slip; S&P and Nasdaq drop amid mixed FX, oil gains
S&P 500 futures are down 0.54% and Nasdaq 100 futures down 1.08% while EUR/USD is down 0.06% and WTI rises 0.78% to 84.39.
US index futures are lower: S&P futures are down 0.54 percent, Nasdaq futures are down 1.08 percent, Dow futures are down 0.21 percent, and Russell futures are down 0.36 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is up 0.03 percent.
EUR/USD is down 0.06 percent, GBP/USD is down 0.12 percent, and EUR/GBP is up 0.07 percent.
WTI crude is at 84.39, up 0.78 percent, and Brent crude is at 91.19, up 0.35 percent.
UK volume leaders include Lloyds Banking Group down 0.7 percent, Barclays down 1.32 percent, BP up 1.96 percent, HSBC down 0.12 percent, and Shell up 1.34 percent.
Continental European volume leaders are Deutsche Telekom up 1.66 percent, UBS down 1.03 percent, Nestle up 0.05 percent, SAP up 0.09 percent, and Sanofi up 0.9 percent.
