Bitmine adds 9,926 ETH, lifts holdings to 5.82 million
Bitmine Immersion Technologies says it added 9,926 Ethereum last week, bringing total holdings to 5.82 million ETH and about $11 billion in value, while also disclosing continued weekly purchases, staking activity, and share buybacks in its press release.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR ) is up 4% after disclosing it added 9,926 Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) last week, pushing total holdings to 5.82 million ETH worth roughly $11 billion.
What the Latest Purchase Means According to Monday’s press release, Bitmine has now bought ETH every single week for 14 straight months since launching its ETH treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.
Total holdings of 5.82 million ETH represent 4.8% of the entire ETH circulating supply of 120.7 million coins, putting the company 96% of the way toward its goal of owning 5%.
Bitmine has staked 5,067,309 ETH through its MAVAN institutional staking platform, generating an annualized yield of 2.61% and projected staking revenues of $250 million annually.
Total crypto holdings, cash, and strategic investments reach $11.4 billion, including a $180 million stake in Beast Industries and a $73 million stake in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS ).
What Chairman Tom Lee Said Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee noted in the release that the ETH/BTC ratio has moved above its long-term downtrend for the first time in years, now sitting at 0.02994 and rising.
He attributed the shift to markets beginning to price in tokenization and agentic AI applications running on Ethereum.
Lee compared the GENIUS Act and SEC’s Project Crypto to the 1971 Nixon shock that ended the Bretton Woods gold standard, calling both moments equally transformational for financial infrastructure.
He also noted that Bitmine repurchased 1.7 million shares last week, bringing cumulative buybacks to 20.8 million shares since July under its $4 billion repurchase program, which he called the largest buyback ever executed by any crypto digital asset treasury.
Moreover, Bitmine’s institutional backers include ARK’s Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, Kraken, and DCG.
