S&P 500 futures slip; Nasdaq 100 gains; EUR/USD firms
US index futures point to S&P 500 down 0.03% and Nasdaq 100 up 0.17%, while EUR/USD rises 0.24% and WTI climbs 0.8% to 83.06.
US index futures are showing the S&P down 0.03 percent, Nasdaq up 0.17 percent, Dow down 0.35 percent, and the Russell down 0.39 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.2 percent, EUR/USD is up 0.24 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.18 percent, and EUR/GBP is up 0.05 percent.
WTI crude is at 83.06, up 0.8 percent, and Brent crude is at 89.37, up 0.96 percent.
UK volume leaders include Lloyds Banking Group down 0.48 percent, HSBC up 0.27 percent, BP down 0.36 percent, Barclays down 1.13 percent, and GSK up 1.38 percent.
Continental European volume leaders are Deutsche Telekom down 0.94 percent, Nestle down 2.36 percent, UBS up 0.16 percent, SAP down 0.54 percent, and Novartis up 0.34 percent.
