European session: S&P 500 futures rise, WTI crude falls

European session trading shows S&P 500 futures up 0.12%, Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.41%, the dollar index down 0.28%, and WTI crude down 0.91% at 81.65.

EUR/USD is up 0.32 percent, GBP/USD is up 0.22 percent, and EUR/GBP is up 0.08 percent.

WTI crude is at 81.65, down 0.91 percent, and Brent crude is at 88.25, down 0.31 percent.

UK volume leaders include Lloyds Banking Group down 0.13 percent, Barclays down 0.21 percent, HSBC up 0.45 percent, BP unchanged, and GSK up 1.4 percent.

Continental European volume leaders are Deutsche Telekom down 0.03 percent, Nestle down 0.8 percent, UBS up 0.02 percent, SAP down 1.03 percent, and Novartis up 0.72 percent.
