In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.13 percent, USD/JPY is down 0.14 percent, USD/CNH is down 0.01 percent, and AUD/USD is up 0.2 percent.
Oil prices show WTI crude at 82.47, up 0.08 percent, and Brent crude at 88.87, up 0.4 percent.
Asian volume leaders include Xiaomi up 2.03 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ down 0.76 percent, Alibaba up 1.67 percent, Samsung Electronics up 2.43 percent, and SoftBank Group up 1.99 percent.
