U.S. futures edge higher as dollar slips, oil eases
S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, Dow and Russell futures are modestly higher, the dollar index is lower, and WTI and Brent crude are slightly down.
US index futures: S&P futures are up 0.08 percent, Nasdaq futures are up 0.23 percent, Dow futures are up 0.01 percent, and Russell futures are up 0.01 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.13 percent.
EUR/USD is up 0.09 percent, USD/JPY is down 0.16 percent, and GBP/USD is up 0.13 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 82.09, down 0.38 percent, and Brent crude is at 88.47, down 0.06 percent.
