U.S. futures edge higher; dollar slips, euro and pound rise
S&P, Nasdaq, Dow and Russell futures are modestly higher, while the dollar index slips and EUR/USD, USD/JPY and GBP/USD move higher or lower as cited.
US index futures: S&P futures are up 0.07 percent, Nasdaq futures are up 0.21 percent, Dow futures are up 0.04 percent, and Russell futures are up 0.03 percent.
In currencies, the dollar index is down 0.05 percent.
EUR/USD is up 0.41 percent, USD/JPY is down 0.23 percent, and GBP/USD is up 0.42 percent.
In oil, WTI crude is at 82.38, down 0.02 percent, and Brent crude is at 88.64, up 0.14 percent.
