SENSEX closes 0.09% lower as Tata Motors leads decliners
India's SENSEX Index fell 71 points, or 0.09%, to close at 78,009 on Friday, with Tata Motors, Asian Paints and NTPC leading declines.
The SENSEX Index decreased 71 points or 0.09 percent on Friday to close at 78009 points.
The decline was led by Tata Motors (-4.46%), Asian Paints (-1.83%) and NTPC (-1.28%).
On the upside, the strongest performers were Bharti Airtel (2.73%), Adani Ports (2.41%) and Eternal Limited (1.79%).
