Asian markets close mixed; KOSPI gains 2.42%, ASX 200 falls
Asian cash markets finish mixed, with the Nikkei 225 up 0.59%, the Hang Seng down 1.25%, the Shanghai Composite down 0.49%, the KOSPI up 2.42% and the ASX 200 down 1.02%.
Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 0.59 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 1.25 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 0.49 percent, the KOSPI closed up 2.42 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 1.02 percent.
Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi down 0.85 percent, Meituan down 4.44 percent, Alibaba down 2.05 percent, SoftBank Group up 2.94 percent and Mitsubishi UFJ down 0.62 percent.
