Asian session: S&P futures edge up, Nasdaq futures slip

The US Dollar Index is down 0.06 percent, USD/JPY is down 0.06 percent, USD/CNH is up 0.02 percent, and AUD/USD is up 0.01 percent.

WTI crude is at 80.92, down 0.41 percent, and Brent crude is at 86.7, down 0.42 percent.

Asian volume leaders include Xiaomi down 1.24 percent, SoftBank Group up 4.14 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ unchanged, Alibaba down 2.21 percent, and Meituan down 3.12 percent.
