CorMedix surges after better-than-expected Q2 results

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 200 points on Thursday.

Shares of Accelerant Holdings (NYSE: ARX ) rose sharply after the specialty insurance company agreed to be acquired by Thoma Bravo and reported better-than-expected second-quarter 2026 results.

Second-quarter revenue rose sharply from $219.1 million a year earlier.

Exchange Written Premium increased 23% year over year to $1.32 billion, while Third-Party Direct Written Premium accounted for 47% of Exchange Written Premium volume.

Accelerant Holdings shares jumped 44.2% to $19.58 on Thursday.

Omeros Corp (NASDAQ: OMER ) gained 25.2% to $17.17 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

CorMedix Inc (NASDAQ: CRMD ) surged 23.6% to $8.78 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results.

Hyliion Holdings Corp (NYSE: HYLN ) gained 18.5% to $4.61.

Northland Capital Markets analyst Ted Jackson upgraded Hyliion from Market Perform to Outperform and announced a $10 price target.

Birkenstock Holding PLC (NYSE: BIRK ) climbed 16.2% to $42.63 after the company reported upbeat third-quarter sales results and affirmed its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.

Aveanna Healthcare Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: AVAH ) gained 14.4% to $10.35 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Kura Oncology Inc (NASDAQ: KURA ) climbed 13.5% to $11.28 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly EPS results.

BBB Foods Inc (NYSE: TBBB ) gained 12.8% to $47.78 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly sales results.

Bullish (NYSE: BLSH ) rose 11.6% to $27.47 following second-quarter results.

X-Energy Inc (NASDAQ: XE ) climbed 10.8% to $22.56 following quarterly results.

EnerSys (NYSE: ENS ) rose 9% to $203.60 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Also, the company increased its quarterly dividend.

Shift4 Payments In c (NYSE: FOUR ) gained 8.7% to $47.74.

McGraw Hill Inc (NYSE: MH ) rose 8.6% to $12.60 following upbeat quarterly results.

Rum Group Inc (NASDAQ: RUM ) shares surged 7.3% to $8.10.

CoreWeave Inc (NASDAQ: CRWV ) gained 7% to $115.24.
