Asia cash markets close mixed; KOSPI rises, Hang Seng falls
Asian cash markets finish mixed, with the Nikkei 225 up 1.16%, Hang Seng down 1.1%, Shanghai Composite down 0.18%, KOSPI up 3.56%, and ASX 200 down 0.67%.
Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 1.16 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 1.1 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 0.18 percent, the KOSPI closed up 3.56 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 0.67 percent.
Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi down 1.82 percent, Tencent down 4.51 percent, Alibaba down 0.73 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 2.86 percent and Samsung Electronics up 4.89 percent.
