FTSE 100 opens 0.47% lower as miners lead declines
The FTSE 100 Index is losing 51 points, with Antofagasta, Rio Tinto and Fresnillo among the biggest decliners, while Scottish Mortgage, Aviva and Spirax-Sarco Engineering gain.

Losses were led by Antofagasta (-5.05%), Rio Tinto (-4.56%) and Fresnillo (-3.78%).
Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Scottish Mortgage (1.56%), Aviva (1.28%) and Spirax-Sarco Engineering (1.11%).
