QBTS D-Wave Awarded Canadian Government Funding to Advance Commercial Quantum Computing • D-Wave was awarded up to CAD $300,000 from Canada's National Research Council to advance annealing quantum computing software for commercial applications. • D-Wave and the NRC will develop next-generation algorithms designed to solve larger, more complex optimization problems on its Advantage2 quantum computers. • The new algorithms will be integrated into D-Wave's open-source Ocean SDK, targeting applications including logistics, manufacturing, scheduling, resource allocation, machine learning and materials simulation.
