Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 0.83 percent, the Hang Seng closed down 1.02 percent, the Shanghai Composite closed down 0.5 percent, the KOSPI closed up 3.68 percent and the ASX 200 closed down 0.45 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi down 1.35 percent, Alibaba down 3.32 percent, Meituan down 1.67 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 2.74 percent and Tencent down 2.46 percent.
