LAC Lithium Americas Secures Up to $175 Million Financing for Thacker Pass ⠀ • Lithium Americas entered into an agreement for up to $175 million in subordinated convertible debenture financing with an affiliate of Yorkville Advisors. • The financing is intended to strengthen the company's liquidity as construction advances at the Thacker Pass lithium project. • The company expects Thacker Pass to reach mechanical completion in late 2027 and produce 40,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate. • Lithium Americas said the financing complements its U.S. Department of Energy loan and strategic investments from General Motors and Orion Resource Partners.
