Marriott Analysts Slash Their Forecasts After Q2 Results
Marriott International Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR ) on Monday reported mixed second- quarter 2026 results. Adjusted earnings were $3.19 per share, up from $2.65 a year earlier and above the analyst estimate of $3.09. Revenue increased 5% year over year to $7.07 billion but missed the consensus estimate of $7.20 billion. Reported diluted earnings per share rose to $2.90 from $2.78. Marriott forecast third-quarter adjusted earnings of $2.74 to $2.82 per share, below the analyst consensus estimate of $2.87. These analysts made changes to their price targets on Marriott following earnings announcement.
Baird analyst Michael Bellisario maintained the stock with a Neutral and lowered the price target from $394 to $393.
Barclays analyst Brandt Montour maintained the stock with an Equal-Weight rating and lowered the price target from $379 to $348.
BMO Capital analyst Ari Klein maintained the stock with an Outperform rating and cut the price target from $410 to $395.
