AXT Posts Upbeat Q2 Earnings, Joins Newell Brands, SPX Technologies, Amazon And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 50 points on Friday.

Shares of AXT Inc (NASDAQ: AXTI ) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued strong third- quarter guidance.

Semiconductor wafer manufacturer AXT reported adjusted EPS of 19 cents, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of seven cents, according to Pro data.

Revenue rose 164.80% year over year (Y/Y) to $47.59 million, blowing past the Street estimate of $34.09 million.

AXT shares jumped 25.3% to $58.80 on Friday.

Forum Energy Technologies Inc (NYSE: FET ) gained 20.4% to $62.01 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.

IES Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: IESC ) surged 19.7% to $684.39 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

The company announced a 2-for-1 stock split.

SPX Technologies Inc (NYSE: SPXC ) gained 17.3% to $233.38 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results and raised its FY26 guidance above estimates.

Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ: AMZN ) surged 13.3% to $266.87 following strong quarterly results.

SPS Commerce Inc (NASDAQ: SPSC ) surged 13% to $74.38 following upbeat earnings.

Dolby Laboratories In c (NYSE: DLB ) shares jumped 12.2% to $58.09 following third-quarter earnings.

Guardant Health Inc (NASDAQ: GH ) gained 12% to $170.58 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly sales results and raised its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.

DexCom Inc (NASDAQ: DXCM ) gained 11.2% to $82.90 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance.

Monolithic Power Systems Inc (NASDAQ: MPWR ) gained 11% to $1,461.01 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued current-quarter sales guidance above estimates. nVent Electric PLC (NYSE: NVT ) surged 9.1% to $158.11 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance above estimates.

Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc (NYSE: RYAN ) gained 7.8% to $47.54 as the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results.

Standex International Corp (NYSE: SXI ) surged 5.3% to $305.35 following strong quarterly earnings.

MSA Safety Inc (NYSE: MSA ) gained 7.4% to $187.31 following upbeat earnings.
