Executive Chairman Milton "Todd" Ault III said Bitcoin monetization and Bitcoin-backed borrowing were more attractive than issuing additional equity at current valuations. "This decision does not constitute a change in our long-term conviction regarding Bitcoin," CEO William Horne said. "Instead, we believe it demonstrates the strategic value of maintaining a substantial Bitcoin treasury." Hyperscale Data expects to divest Ault Capital Group in the second quarter of 2027 and focus on data centers, high-performance computing services and digital assets.
