Chief Executive Officer Greg Smith said strong demand across semiconductor test and robotics, particularly AI-related opportunities spanning wafer production to data centers, drove another record quarter.
Smith added that near-term AI demand remains robust, while higher investments in wafer fabrication equipment are expected to support growth beyond 2027.
Teradyne Third-Quarter Outlook Beats Expectations For the third quarter, Teradyne expects adjusted earnings of $1.85 to $2.15 per share, above the analyst consensus estimate of $1.53.
The company also forecast third-quarter revenue of $1.20 billion to $1.30 billion, exceeding the consensus estimate of $1.042 billion.
