DXY The U.S. Dollar was on track for its biggest weekly gain since mid-June (DXY +0.7%), buoyed by the rise in oil prices, while the Yen was poised for its largest weekly percentage decline in more than two months (down at 40-yr lows vs the greenback). --Japan's Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama once again reiterated on Friday the government's readiness to take action in the foreign exchange market. --JPY/USD Against the Japanese Yen, the Dollar weakened 0.04% to 163.78 but was up nearly 0.9% on the week, which would Mark its strongest week since May 15 (off 40-yr highs of 16.98 on Thursday).
