States lose $1B in tax revenue
US states have lost $1 billion in tax revenue due to unregulated prediction markets, according to the American Gaming Association. This loss is attributed to the rise of unregulated prediction market platforms.
Bill Miller, American Gaming Association president and CEO, added that prediction market platforms in his view amount to "backdoor sports betting."
