Lockheed Martin, Quest Diagnostics, Thermo Fisher Scientific And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index dipping around 450 points on Thursday.

Shares of Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE: LMT ) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance above estimates.

Lockheed Martin reported quarterly earnings of $7.94 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $7.09 per share.

The company reported quarterly sales of $20.063 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $19.344 billion.

Lockheed Martin shares jumped 11.4% to $573.21 on Thursday.

Merlin Inc (NASDAQ: MRLN ) jumped 16.6% to $3.89.

United Rentals Inc (NYSE: URI ) surged 12.6% to $1,166.11 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 sales guidance above estimates.

Oceaneering International Inc (NYSE: OII ) surged 10.4% to $49.64 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Quest Diagnostics Inc (NYSE: DGX ) gained 10% to $231.36 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results and raised its FY26 guidance above estimates.

Kaiser Aluminum Corp (NASDAQ: KALU ) gained 9.6% to $180.06 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results.

Thermo Fisher Scientific In c (NYSE: TMO ) shares jumped 9% to $574.02 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
