CRWV Coreweave's AI-Native Cloud Faces the Storm -- WSJ A number of years ago when he saw the new age of artificial Intelligence unfolding, Michael Intrator determined that the technology demanded a fresh approach to the entire Cloud, from infrastructure and software to the way build-outs are financed. Since then, the company he Co-founded, now named Coreweave, has been in a sprint to build a new AI-native Cloud. Along the way, it has experienced explosive growth, helped by a strategic relationship with Nvidia and debt issuance backed by contracts with Premier customers such as Microsoft, Meta and trading giant Jane Street. But recent financial results and guidance have disappointed investors, and Coreweave's share price has tumbled about 58% from its all-time high in June 2025. Industrywide concerns about high capital spending and debt levels amid the global AI infrastructure boom have also weighed on Coreweave and other tech stocks that had seen soaring valuations. Coreweave is at the heart of the massive, global AI infrastructure build-out, and reflects its opportunities and challenges. I asked Intrator to share his perspective on the boom. Despite the turbulence, the CEO says.
