ManpowerGroup Posts Upbeat Q2 Earnings, Joins Docebo, Zentalis Pharmaceuticals And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 400 points on Friday.

Shares of ManpowerGroup Inc (NYSE: MAN ) rose sharply after the company reported upbeat second-quarter results and issued third-quarter earnings guidance above expectations.

Adjusted earnings were 99 cents per share, topping analysts’ consensus estimate of 95 cents.

Revenue rose 8% year over year to $4.86 billion, or 6% in constant currency, exceeding estimates of $4.72 billion.

ManpowerGroup shares jumped 5.8% to $54.63 on Friday.

Phoenix Asia Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ: PHOE ) shares jumped 23.2% to $30.50.

Sweetgreen Inc (NYSE: SG ) shares gained 17.2% to $7.31.

Trevi Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: TRVI ) shares jumped 10.6% to $19.20.

Docebo Inc (NASDAQ: DCBO ) gained 10.5% to $20.48 as the company reported preliminary second-quarter sales of $68.3 million-$68.5 million, up 12.5%-12.9% year-over-year and announced a $70 million stock repurchase.

Zentalis Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ZNTL ) gained 10.3% to $5.04.

Mizuho analyst Graig Suvannavejh initiated coverage on Zentalis Pharmaceuticals with an Outperform rating and announced a price target of $8.

Green Plains Inc (NASDAQ: GPRE ) surged 9.8% to $18.90.

UBS analyst Manav Gupta maintained Green Plains with a Neutral and raised the price target from $12 to $20.

Sellas Life Sciences Group Inc (NASDAQ: SLS ) gained 9.4% to $12.85.

Frequency Electronics In c (NASDAQ: FEIM ) gained 9.4% to $61.41.

Frequency Electronic recently reported worse-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Travelers Companies In c (NYSE: TRV ) shares rose 7.8% to $364.26 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Kosmos Energy Ltd (NYSE: KOS ) shares jumped 6.3% to $2.28.
