Robotaxi, Optimus Under Spotlight On Wednesday, influencer Sawyer Merritt took to X, sharing some of the top questions investors have asked.
One of the top questions was about the Optimus Gen 3 robot, which recently got a boost as Tesla transitioned the Fremont, California, facility to produce the robot.

Investors also questioned Tesla’s failure to accomplish “short term goals” like deployment of Robotaxis to cover 50% of the U.S. by the end of 2025, touted by Musk last year.

The investors questioned why Robotaxi growth was “stalled” and when would we see Cybercab start customer rides.
They also asked Tesla about the “latest milestones and city expansion plans” for unsupervised Robotaxi/Cybercab operations, as well as fleet targets and revenue contributions set by the company.
Elon Musk’s Pay Package, FSD Summon? There were also talks about Tesla merging or being acquired, possibly by Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: SPCX ).
Investors questioned if the EV giant, “to reward long term Tesla retail shareholders for their loyalty,” could commit to achieving half of the milestones outlined in Musk’s pay package “before considering any offers to acquire or merge” the automaker.
They asked when they could “expect” unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) with “point-to-point summon capability?” Investors asked the Tesla upper management.
According to Edge Rankings, Tesla shares score well on the Growth metric and offer satisfactory Momentum and Quality.
Tesla also provides a favorable price trend in the Medium term.
Price Action: Tesla shares were up 0.10% to $394.85 during the after-hours session on Wednesday.
