BHP Group Meets Fiscal Year 2026 Production Guidance, Issues Fiscal Year 2027 Outlook
BHP Group (ASX:BHP) reported fiscal year 2026 copper production of 1.95 million tonnes, down 3% from fiscal 2025 but within its guidance range of 1.9 million tonnes to 2 million tonnes, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse. The company also reported full-year iron ore production of 264.7 million tonnes, up 1% from the previous year and within its guidance range of 258 million to 269 million tonnes, per the filing. For fiscal year 2027, BHP Group is targeting copper output of 1.65 million to 1.8 million tonnes and iron ore production of 260 million to 272 million tonnes. The company said it plans to outline a strategy in November to potentially double copper production at its Copper South Australia division.
