RxSight Names Aziz Mottiwala as CEO
RxSight (RXST) said late Wednesday its board has appointed Aziz Mottiwala as president and chief executive officer, starting July 20. Mottiwala succeeds Ron Kurtz, who will continue to serve as chief medical officer, the company said, adding that Kurtz will resign from the board, at which time Mottiwala will fill the resulting vacancy. Mottiwala most recently served as chief commercial officer at Tarsus Pharmaceuticals (TARS), the company added. Also, the company said it is not updating its previously communicated guidance in connection with the transition announcement.
