Kratos Opens Pennsylvania Defense Manufacturing Facility, Plans $7 Million Equipment Investment
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Wednesday it opened a 167,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility in York, Pennsylvania, and plans to invest more than $7 million in new production equipment. The expansion increases Kratos' Pennsylvania footprint to three facilities employing more than 440 people, it said. The company said the new plant will boost production of military hardware supporting air defense, missile, radar, counter-drone and hypersonic programs to meet rising demand from US and allied defense customers.
