PetroTal Reports Drop in Q2 Production
PetroTal (TAL.TO) reported second-quarter average group production of 12,557 barrels of oil equivalent per day, down from 21,039 bopd in the year-ago quarter. PetroTal reaffirmed annual production guidance of 12,000 bopd, reflecting expected downtime from a work program at the Bretana field scheduled to start in July and to be completed in the third quarter, the company said Wednesday. The company's total cash position as of the second quarter is US$136.8 million.
