PNC Financial Services Group Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Dividend Raised

PNC Financial Services Group (PNC) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $4.85 per share, up from $3.85 a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.54. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $6.88 billion, up from $5.66 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $6.51 billion. The company raised its quarterly cash dividend by $0.30 to $2 per share, payable Aug. 5 to shareholders of record on July 20.
