Billionbrains Garage Ventures' Consolidated Profit Soars in Fiscal Q1; Shares Jump 4%
Billionbrains Garage Ventures (NSE:GROWW, BOM:544603), which operates financial technology platform Groww, said consolidated attributable profit jumped to 7.35 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from 3.78 billion rupees a year ago. Earnings per share climbed to 1.17 rupees from 0.63 rupees a year earlier, the financial technology company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Wednesday. Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also increased to 15.0 billion rupees from 9.04 billion rupees a year ago. Shares of the company rose nearly 4% in recent trade.
