TS Financial to Merge Two Units to Streamline Operations
TS Financial (TPE:2887) units Taishin Venture Capital Investment and Shin Kong Financial Venture Capital will merge as part of an internal restructuring, according to a Tuesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange. Taishin Venture Capital Investment will survive the merger, while Shin Kong Financial Venture Capital will be dissolved, effective Sept. 1. Under the deal, Taishin VC will issue about 132 million new shares, exchanging 0.8979 of its shares for each Shin Kong VC share. The merger is expected to improve the company's investment portfolio management, capital allocation and cash flow efficiency, the filing said.
