Mitsui Chemicals' US Unit to Establish Holding Company Before Ultradent Products Acquisition
Mitsui Chemicals' (TYO:4183) wholly owned subsidiary Mitsui Chemicals America will establish a U.S. holding company in July to support its planned acquisition of Ultradent Products, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday. The holding company, called MC Dental Holdings America, will acquire and manage Ultradent Products' shares and business assets and lead post-merger integration after the transaction is executed, the filing said. MC Dental Holdings America will also be designated as a specified subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals. Shares of Mitsui Chemicals rose nearly 4% at market close.
