USD/DKK Holds Higher on Softer Denmark Inflation Rate in June
The Danish krone held lower against the US dollar on Friday after consumer prices in Denmark grew by 0.2%, measured on a monthly basis, in June, compared with a 0.6% increase in May. On a yearly basis, the inflation rate in Denmark held at 1.9% in June and remained unchanged from the previous month. The next mild event for the Danish krone will be the Business Confidence for July, due on July 22. For the USD, the major events will be the inflation data for June and testimony of Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh, due on July 14. At the time of writing, the USD/DKK was trading at 6.54528, with a 0.08% gain during American trading hours on Friday.
