Solaris Energy Acquires GESA to Broaden Power Generation Lifecycle Services

Solaris Energy Infrastructure (SEI) said Monday that it acquired Global Energy Services Alliance to expand its full-cycle power generation capabilities and strengthen its global power services platform. Solaris funded the acquisition with about $55 million in cash and approximately 3 million Class A shares. The company expects the transaction to increase earnings and free cash flow per share, it said. The acquisition expands Solaris' services across the full power generation lifecycle, adding capabilities from plant installation and commissioning to long-term operations, repairs, and maintenance for power assets, the company said. GESA combines Baseload Power's US aftermarket and commissioning business with Pro-Per Energy Services' international operations and maintenance expertise. The combination also broadens Solaris' capabilities across aeroderivative, industrial, heavy-duty, hydroelectric, and steam generation equipment, the company said. Solaris said the acquisition strengthens its technical workforce, allowing it to deliver turnkey power projects at greater scale while supporting rising customer demand and expanding opportunities with third-party customers. The deal.
