Exchange-Traded Funds Higher, Equity Futures Mixed Pre-Bell Monday as Chip Stocks Rebound

The broad market exchange-traded fund SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) was up 0.5%, and the actively traded Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) advanced 1.3% in Monday's premarket activity, as chip stocks rebounded and lower oil prices supported risk appetite. US stock futures were mixed, with S&P 500 Index futures up 0.4%, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures retreating by 0.1%, and Nasdaq futures gaining 1.1% before the start of regular trading.
