Quantum Blockchain Unit Wins Appeal Ruling in Sipiem Recovery Proceedings
Quantum Blockchain Technologies (QBT.L) said Friday an Italian court dismissed a defendant's appeal against enforcement proceedings related to its Sipiem litigation, allowing its subsidiary Clear Leisure 2017 to resume the judicial sale of a real estate asset. The blockchain-focused investor said the Court of Biella confirmed the validity of enforcement proceedings over the property, independently valued at 272,600 euros. Clear Leisure 2017 is pursuing enforcement of a final judgment from the Venice Court of Appeal, which awarded it more than 6 million euros in damages, plus interest and legal costs.
