Condor Energies Reaches Highest Production in Uzbekistan
Energy transition company Condor Energies said Monday it has reached a production milestone of 16,921 barrels of oil equivalent per day over the past 72 hours at its Uzbekistan project, after bringing the Kumli-42 vertical well online. The K-42 well was tested and tied into the production facilities, according to the statement, after being drilled to a depth of 2,462 meters. Test results showed an average flow rate of 11.2 million standard cubic feet per day, with preliminary condensate to gas ratio of 1.3 barrels per mmscf and 359 barrels per day of water, the company said. K-42 is in the Kumli Northwest field, where other wells are under development. The K-43 and K-44 wells are being drilled, with total depth expected to be reached in July and production expected to begin in August. The company said it will target the upper reservoir, which is currently producing more than 12 mmscf/d at both K-46 and K-47 wells. Condor also said it will begin developing the lower interval reservoirs after K-42 demonstrated positive test results. In Q2, production at Uzbekistan oil fields averaged 13,851 boe/d, up 17% from the previous quarter.
